2D artworks must have braided, plastic-coated hanging wire securely affixed to the back. The wire must be taught enough to ensure that the work hangs flat against the wall. Ideally the wire should be installed â…“ of the full height of the work from the top edge.

The gauge of wire must be strong enough to support the weight of the artwork.
